Abby Fowler

Executive Director

A Certified Executive of Assisted Living, Abby joined Arrow Senior Living July 17, 2017. She was born in Iowa and raised in Zanesville, Ohio. She graduated from The University of Akron and currently lives in Canton, Ohio. She is happily married and has 1 son and 1 grandson. She likes to read and travel with family and friends.
Abby has been an Executive Director in the Assisted Living industry for 5 years and before that worked as a Sales Manager in Assisted Living. A culture of caring with excellent customer service and an utmost dedication to a superior resident and family experience is her mission.

Bailey Simon

Senior Living Director

Bailey is our Senior Living Director. She Joined our team in April of 2017. Bailey is from Toledo, Ohio and moved to Cleveland in 2015 to be with her Fiancé. Bailey graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Gerontology with a specialization in Alzheimer’s and other Dementias. She has worked in the aging field in assisted livings as well as Skilled nursing settings. In her free time, she loves to read, spend time with family, and take her Black Lab for walks. Bailey is ecstatic to be a part of the Gables of Green family.

Laurie Deem

Resident Services Director

Laurie joined our team in October of 2017 and is our Resident Services Director. Laurie is from Canton and has been happily married for 32 years. She has 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren whom she adores. She enjoys shopping, entertaining, and spending time with family and friends.
Laurie has been a Director of Activities in the Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care communities for almost 14 years. She loves people and is especially passionate about helping seniors. She is dedicated to truly making a difference in the lives of all whom she serves.

Carly Abels

Business Office Director

Carly Abels was born and raised in Green, Ohio, and is a graduate from the University of Akron where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in both Child and Family Development. Carly began her career as an Early Childhood teacher, and most recently has been a Center Director/Administrator for several Early Childhood centers in the area. Carly is dedicated to embracing the Gables of Green philosophy of providing quality care to all residents, and providing support to all employees.
In Carly’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and dog Kona, doing home improvement projects and planning vacations.

Virginia Sampson

Wellness Director

Virginia Sampson is an LPN and has most recently worked as a Nurse Manager in a Skilled Nursing Facility and specializes in wound and skin care management. Virginia is currently enrolled at Stark State College to continue her Nursing education. She has been happily married for twenty years and enjoys spending time with her husband and two labradors. It was her mother who instilled in Virginia her love and compassion for the geriatric population. Virginia is dedicated to providing integrity and exceptional care for all the residents.

Heather Clause

Care Coordinator and Director of Memory Care

Heather joined the Gables of Green Team October 10, 2017. She was born and raised in Randolph, Ohio where she currently resides with her husband, Scott. They have two children, Corey, 27 and Rylie, 22. She loves all sports and is a huge Steelers fan. She loves to travel and gardening. Most of all, she loves being with her family and making new memories with them.

Heather is a graduate of W. Howard Nicol School of Practical Nursing. She has been a nurse for 18 years, with 13 years of Emergency Room and 5 years of Long Term and Memory Care experience. Heather has been in management for 5 years.

Heather is dedicated to giving her residents and their families the best care possible.

Tom Tarter

Plant Operations Director

Tom Tarter has extensive experience in Plant Operations and maintenance for a Senior Living community. He has been doing this since 2009. Before 2009, he had his own remodeling business.
He enjoys the day to day interactions with residents, families, and co-workers. Tom is always looking to get a laugh or a smile out of them to make their day better.
When Tom is not working, Tom spends his time playing guitar for a local band, Whiskey Loco, he loves the outdoors and spending time with his wife and kids.
